They make protective eye wear to fit over glasses. If you can’t find them try getting some saftey goggles for like a chemistry lab or something.

Dental Assistants: Protective Eyewear?

Sunday, May 8th, 2011

Question by Dental Assistant (IC): Dental Assistants: Protective Eyewear?
Hi, if you’re a dental assistant, do you prefer to: wear a mask and safety glasses, just a visor (plastic face shield) or a visor and a mask? Is there any combination which is more advised to use?

Thank you.

Best answer:

Answer by Bouncing molar
i think that visor without a face mask is a bad idea as it doesn’t stop airborne particles going in your mouth such as water spray.

glasses or visor is good, visor looks like ur in the riot police though but it protects you more from splatter.
