its discrimination and advatagous that ppl who do not have 20/20 vision (what ever that is) HAVE TO pay sometimes hundreds of dollars to correct their eye site while ppl who do not need corrective lenses can have hundreds of dollars more in their pockets? Isn’t it important for ppl to see? wouldn’t there be less accidents, mishaps and mistakes if eye care was free? PPL DO YOU AGREE?

Well if you can’t pay for glasses you can actually get free glasses. But yes if you don’t want glasses and want contacts the government wont pay for them. I would like free health care for everyone but people tend to think it’s going to waste to much money but I won’t go their to much.

I was thinking of getting some oversized glasses (and have my prescription lenses put in them) as I would like a change from my thinner, squarish glasses.
Perhaps something a little like Nelly Yuki’s glasses in Gossip Girl (she wears various unusual, more high-fashion eyewear throughout the series)
So basically any suggestions of designers or websites where I can buy more unusual, high fashion eyewear with BIG lenses. (clear lens please! no sunglasses). Direct links to particular styles would be especially helpful!

Hey my friends done exactly the same, got a pair of geek glasses and put here lenses in them. They look really good! American apparel sell good geeky eyewear. If there is’nt one near you just go on their website its brilliant! Also Urban Outfitters sell good ones aswell! if there isn’t on near you just check out their website. I’m not sure what country your from? but if your from England Brick lane, portobello road markets sell loads. Oh and ebay! are brill for stuff like that.

I have significant myopia (-7.0 both eyes) so I can’t see that well without my glasses. I want to go swimming at the beaches, so its important to see clearly but obviously I can’t go swimming with glasses on.
I used to find vision-corrective swimming goggles that have a vision-corrective prescription but I can’t seem to find them here in Melbourne, Australia. Any tips?

I’ve worn glasses since I was four and now I have these dark marks just where the glasses rest on my nose.
My current spectacles are not tight they are fitting nicely.The dark marks are a result of years of wearing glasses.

you could use coverup…you shud really try to find some glasses that arent too tight and that have a cushion..where it touches your nose..they sell glasses like that at like Newlook,or any fancy eyewear place. but they wont be cheap,they’ll be expensive
