Can any one please provide me the chart for spex – contact lense number ratio

    there really isn’t an exact ration because a lot depends on the individual, type of contacts, how far the glasses are from the face, age etc.

    The answer depends on a few variables, but assuming your eyeglasses sit around 12mm from your eyes, it should be
    -9.00, if it’s 14mm, it should be -8.75. See this for more information: http://www.rgpli.org/education/conversioncharts.htm

    Bear in mind that contact lenses only come in quarter steps, and sometimes only in half steps at the higher prescriptions.

    If you are asking this in order to obtain lenses, you’ll need much more information, size (base curve), diameter, etc. Ask your doctor for a copy of your prescription to be sure you’re getting the correct fit.
